Happy Wednesday everyone! It’s time for my favorite post: WWW Wednesday, which is featured by Sam at Taking on a World of Words.
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you will read next?
Currently Reading
The Crowns of Coswald by D.E. Night – I am currently reading this one with a friend for a buddy read. This book definitely has a lot of Harry Potter vibes to it, which I’m loving so far.
Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid – This was my March BOTM pick. I finally succumbed to the massive peer pressure that book community has surrounding this book. Again, I’m always massive apprehensive with books that are surrounded by this much hype, but this book…LIVES UP TO THE HYPE. I’m 100 pages in, and I’m sucked into this plot.
Recently Finished Reading
Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff (eARC) – 5 stars. OMG. This book was every bit as amazing as I thought it would be. This dynamic duo knows how to write sci-fi that is packed with adventure and wit. I couldn’t put this one down. My review will be coming closer to pub day.
Redemption Point by Candice Fox (ARC) – 4 stars. This action packed, heart pounding, crime thriller was an excellent follow up to Crimson Lake. I loved watching the dynamic between Ted and Amanda unfold as they investigated a double murder. Here is my review.
The Drowning by J.P. Smith – 4 stars. This was my the March selection for my books for coffee The Book Drop subscription. It did not disappoint. The entire time I read this book, I just wanted Alex to get what he deserved. He was such an arrogant and unlikeable character. My review will be coming soon.
Up Next to Read
- Etty Steele Vampire Hunter by Grayson Grave
- Love Punked by Nia Lucas
- We Rule the Night by Claire Eliza Barlett
Have you read any of these books? Are any of these on your TBR? Also, please leave your WWW Wednesday links in the comments.
There is something about Daisy Jones & The Six that just doesn’t appeal to me, but I can’t quite put my finger on why. I really should give it a go. Fab post!

I honestly felt the same way because Rock and Roll has never been my thing. The book is written as if you’re watching a live documentary, which I find really fascinating.

I read an extract from Daisy Jones & The Six via Readers First and I have to say I really didn’t think it was for me, although I’ve seen subsequently others praising it. I’ll be interested in what you think once you’ve read it.

I wasn’t sure that it was for me either. I do like that it reads like a documentary since I’ve never experienced that in book form. We will see how the rest goes!

The Crowns of Coswald sounds like something I might really enjoy 😊
I’m really conflicted by Daisy Jones & The Six . It doesn’t sound like the kind of plot I’d enjoy, but neither did Evelyn Hugo and that became one of my all time favourites. I might just have to trust TJR and go for it…

I felt the same with Daisy. The plot choice is not one I’d typically reach for, but it has definitely taken me by surprise so far.
The Crowns of Coswald is so great! There’s magic, magical creatures, a school for magic…I’m just loving it!
