WWW Wednesday: 29 April 2020

Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday! It’s been a few weeks since I participated in WWW Wednesday since any sort of a schedule and normalcy just isn’t happening. Anyways, as a reminder, WWW Wednesday is a meme sponsored by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. To take part, you just have to answer the following questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you will read next?

Currently Reading

  • The Roxy Letters by Mary Pauline Lowry (audiobook) – the audio of this is already hysterical. The opening scene is Roxy being caught in a compromising situation with her ex, and I definitely spit out my wine.
  • Fractured Tide by Leslie Lutz – I’m only 50 pages in but this is already an atmospheric and chilling read. So far we have a dead body and no answers, so I’m excited to see where this goes.

Recently Finished Reading

  • Four Days of You and Me by Miranda Kenneally (ARC) – 3.5 stars. This was a fun contemporary romance that I tore through in one sitting. Review to come.
  • The Split by Sharon Bolton (eARC) – 2 stars. Ugh, this book. People have been raving about Sharon Bolton, so I tried this one. It was a disaster for me. Here is my review.
  • The Dark In-Between by Elizabeth Hrib (ARC) – 2 stars. I had such high hopes for this one. I love stories that feature fallen angels, but this one just fell flat. The characters were uninteresting and there wasn’t much to the plot. Review to come.
  • The Ingredients of You and Me by Nina Bocci (eARC) – 4.5 stars. I think this is my favorite of the Hopeless Romantics series. This was such a fantastic read. Here is my review.
  • Aurora Burning by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff (eARC) – 3.5 stars. While I still enjoyed this one, it definitely wasn’t as good as Aurora Rising in my opinion. Here my review.
  • Little Lovely Things by Maureen Joyce Connolly (audiobook) – 4 stars. This was a fantastic thriller that ended up being nothing like what I expected. I highly recommend the audio for this one! Here is my review.

Up Next to Read
