Did March fly by for anyone else? I feel like just yesterday I was figuring out my TBR. So last month I read 10 books, and I figured that I was probably around the same this month since grad school is still really demanding. I read 18 books this month! HOW?!

- The Drowning by J.P. Smith – 4 stars. A great thriller that I got for my books for coffee March selection from The Book Drop. Still need to write my review for this one.
- Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens – 3 stars. This one just didn’t live up to the hype for me, which was so disappointing. Here is my review.
- Do You Dream of Terra-Two? by Temi Oh – 4 stars. This was such a great space adventure. What a debut from Temi Oh! Here is my review.
- Her Closest Friend by Clare Boyd – 4 stars. It’s always a guilty pleasure of mine to watch toxic friendships that implode on themselves. This one didn’t disappoint! Here’s my review.
- Almost Home by Valerie Fraser Luesse – 3 stars. This historical fiction just didn’t do it for me. I was wanting action or honestly something out of the plot, and I didn’t get it. Here’s my review.
- The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren – 5 stars. This was my introduction to Christina Lauren’s writing, and it was incredible! I loved this book! My review is coming soon.
- The Shadowverse by John–Clement Gallo – 4 stars. Teenagers with superhero powers team up to save the universe! This was such a fun, action-packed read. Here is my review.
- Queenie by Candice Carty-Williams – 5 stars. One of the best books that I’ve ever read. I honestly felt like I was reading about my own life. I was BLOWN AWAY by this book. Can’t believe this was a debut. Here is my review.
- The Girl of the Tower by Paula Ottoni – 4 stars. I love a good retelling, and this Rapunzel retelling was dark and adventurous. So good. Here’s my review.

- The Sword and the Dagger by Robert Cochran – 4 stars. Three unlikely foes: A Princess, A Prince, and an assassin, must band together to save their kingdoms. This was full of action and adventure. Read this in one sitting. Review coming soon.
- I Know You by Erik Therme – 4 stars. I was hooked from the prologue. So many twists and turns in this psychological thriller. Review coming soon.
- Love Punked by Nia Lucas – 4 stars. This book is so important to teens. It gives a raw and honest insight into teen pregnancy. The humor is also top notch. Great read! Here’s my review.
- Etty Steele Vampire Hunter by Grayson Grave – 4 stars. Middle grade and supernatural creatures! I was so excited for this book, and it didn’t disappoint. I loved getting lost in Etty’s story. Here’s my review.
- We Rule the Night by Claire Eliza Bartlett – 4 stars. An incredible debut filled with magic, friendships, and loyalty. I couldn’t put this one down. Here’s my review.
- Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid – 5 stars. I still can’t believe how incredible this story was. I’m still convinced that this is a real band, and no one can tell me any different! Here’s my review.
- Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff – 5 stars. OMG. I understand why people consider these two the dream team of writing. This was phenomenal. Review coming soon.
- Redemption Point by Candice Fox – 4 stars. What a thrill ride this was! I loved all the twists and turns as Ted and Amanda raced to find Claire’s abductor and solve a double homicide. Here’s my review.
- Only Daughter by Sarah A. Denzil – 4 stars. A sociopath mother goes on a rogue mission to investigate the murder of her daughter. What a book! Here’s my review.
Have you read any of these books? Are any of them on your TBR? Let’s discuss in the comments.
Wow that’s awesome! I’m a little curious about the UnHoneymooners… but I don’t normally read contemporary/romance so I’m hesitant.

I really loved it. If you like chick flick movies, it may be okay. If not, then I’d probably skip it.

I don’t think I’ve seen a chick lit movie since my husband married me… somehow I can’t get him to take me anymore 😛

Congrats on reading so many books, and they all seem great! March was actually a pretty slow month for me as I was ill to begin with, but eventually I managed to finish 5 books.

Thank you! 5 books is still way better than not being able to get through any at all. Hopefully April is a great month for you!
